Dave Turner

Logistics Manager

Dave Turner, who deals with logistics and information, has been a stalwart of the ambulance service for 31 years. Dave provides statistical analysis of the work that goes on at Midlands Air Ambulance as well as checking all the drugs and other supplies are in order. “It’s just brilliant here,” he says. “It’s one big team effort and that really stands out. There’s lots of interesting things to do as well as a few ordinary jobs to keep the place ticking over.” Away from work Dave is married to Kath, has a grown up son Jack and enjoys nothing better than the fresh air and scenery whilst walking on the Wrekin near his Shrewsbury home.

Missions completed since 1991: 49,869 | On average we airlift a child every four days | Road traffic collisions make up around 35% of the incidents we attend | The service airlifts up to three horse riders each week.
