Chief Executive's Welcome
Hello and welcome to our website, which I hope you find both interesting and engaging. We have endeavoured to provide you with as much information as possible about Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) and what we do, and would welcome your feedback (via firstname.lastname@example.org) on the website and how easy it is to navigate around.
At MAAC we work hard to deliver the very best air ambulance care to those unfortunate enough to urgently need our services. In our 25 years we have been recognised nationally and internationally for providing a vitally important emergency service to the people of the Midlands, using the very best clinical techniques and operating standards for the great benefit of our patients.
We attend up to eight air ambulance missions each day – including some of the most traumatic incidents in the region. The role of the air ambulance flight paramedics and doctors is extremely tough and challenging, but also an immensely rewarding one, and therefore we never tire from hearing from those whose lives we touch. Knowing we have made a difference today, ensuring there is a future tomorrow, inspires us to provide the very best care to those in greatest need.
Our relationships with our partners are key to what we do. By working closely with West Midlands Ambulance Service, the local and regional hospitals, our aircraft operators (Babcock Mission Critical Services), the national Association of Air Ambulances and our fellow air ambulance charities, we strive to offer the very best medical care.
Every year we have to raise over £7 million to keep our fleet of three helicopters operational. Over time we have developed wonderful life long relationships with many of our donors and volunteers which is immensely rewarding and we never take this support for granted. We continue to work hard to make sure all of you, our supporters, enjoy your experience with us through fulfilling and engaging charity events.
So, if you choose to host a fundraising event, would like to make a donation, or find out more about how you can get involved, please email the team via email@example.com. We’d love to hear from you!
Thank you for your on going support personally, on behalf of the charity and patients whose lives you help to save, please do continue your goodwill and generosity towards our vitally important life saving air ambulance service.
