In addition to our permanent roles, if you are interested in volunteering for us, please see the opportunities below:
We need enthusiastic people to represent the charity at cheque presentations from local groups and societies in your area.
Our volunteers attend local events and shows, to support fund- raising activities and raise awareness of our charitable status.
From assisting on our merchandise stand at our popular open day, to manning the helicopter bouncy castle at a local show, there’s never a dull moment when we’re out and about.
We have two busy charity shops, located in Wellington near Telford and Newcastle-Under-Lyme in Staffordshire. Volunteer support includes sorting donated items, stocking the shelves and manning the tills.
We are always in need for volunteers willing to donate their time to the day-to-day running of our busy Charity HQ, which is based in Stourbridge.
To manage generous donations of unwanted goods for our charity shops from the public, we have a warehouse unit which is like an Aladdin’s cave!
Our warehouse volunteers assist with sorting the items, from sofas to sewing machines and everything in between, ensuring our two shops are well stocked with quality things to sell.
There are also opportunities for outgoing volunteers to play a key role by representing the charity at talks or presentations about the life saving work we do.
All our volunteers are looked after by our dedicated Volunteer Manager, Alison Hill.
