By car

To note - the postcode TF11 8UR will not be registered with satellite navigation systems yet, so please use the instructions below.

From the M54 - Leave the M54 at Junction 3 and follow the A41 southbound (you can follow the brown and white tourism signs labelled ‘RAF Museum’). Travel 0.5 miles on the A41 until you reach traffic lights. Join the filter lane on the right at the traffic lights and turn right onto the Worcester Road.

From the A41 (from Wolverhampton) - Approximately 0.5 miles before junction 3 of the M54, you will come to traffic lights (opposite a M&S petrol station). Turn left onto the Worcester Road.

Once on Worcester road - Travel straight down the Worcester Road and drive under the railway bridge. Now follow the road round to the right (passing our current RAF Cosford airbase crash gates).

Continue straight for approximately 0.5 miles and, on seeing the entrance to the RAF Museum, follow the road sharply round to the right and go over the hump backed bridge. Immediately after the bridge, our entrance driveway will be on your left.

By train

From Cosford train station, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to Airbase Avenue. Turn right out of the station, follow the road round to the right (passing our current RAF Cosford airbase crash gates).  Continue for approximately 0.5 miles and, on seeing the entrance to the RAF Museum, follow the road sharply round to the right and go over the hump backed bridge. Immediately after the bridge, our entrance driveway will be on your left. Please be mindful there is not a solid pavement sensible footwear is advised.

Our new airbase and headquarters is conveniently located along National Cycle Route 81 which runs from Wellington to Albrighton. To plan your route, you can use websites such as: www.routeyou.com/en-gb. Bicycle racks are available on site.
