Allianz UK ‘Pie in the Sky’

Employees from MAAC’s Corporate Partners, motor insurance company Allianz UK, have started a social media trend with ‘Pie in the Sky’.

The challenge involves social media users posting a video on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube of themselves having a cream pie thrown at their face, featuring a board which asks viewers to text PIES02 £2 to 70070 to donate to MAAC.

Before taking a pie to the face, employees will also nominate on the video three of their friends to take on the challenge.

Allianz UK employees have set themselves the target of raising over £1 million for a total of 20 air ambulance charities, including MAAC, and they are hoping this new challenge will help towards their total.

Allianz UK employee Steven Baker has posted his video on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPzDfHlfOO8
