Amazon raise more than a smile for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity

Staff from Amazon BHX1 Fulfilment Centre at Rugeley, raised over £1,000 in the run up to Christmas. A frenetic six weeks of fundraising amongst staff took place across all shifts during Amazon’s busiest time of the year. All staff were engaged in the events, which included a sponsored head shave, guess the number of sweets in a jar, a car wash, cake bake competition and fancy dress days.

“We are delighted that Amazon has raised these funds. As a charity solely dependent upon funding from donations it is imperative that we continue working with companies like Amazon to raise money in fun ways whilst contributing to our vital life saving service,” states Sarah Arnold, corporate fundraising manager for MAAC.
