Jaguar Land Rover Fuels MAAC

Thanks to the recent Family Fun Day at Jaguar Land Rover’s Lode Lane site in Solihull, £2,000 has been donated to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity to support the service’s life saving work.

Organised by the world-renowned manufacturer for employees and their families, the day was full of fun activities including fairground rides, falconry displays and a bouncy castle to keep the children entertained. Visitors were also given tours of the factory and took part in the Land Rover Experience.

As one of Midlands Air Ambulance’s corporate supporters, Jaguar Land Rover invited the charity to be present on the day. To give everyone an insight into the service, one of the helicopters was based at Lode Lane for the day, and although it remained operational, everyone was given the chance to meet the aircrew and see inside the famous red aircraft.

Missions completed since 1991: 50,563 | On average we airlift a child every four days | Road traffic collisions make up around 35% of the incidents we attend | The service airlifts on average four horse riders each week.
