Summer Party Hots Up Air Ambulance’s Fundraising Total

Meriden-based ESOS, one of the UK’s leading payroll service providers, held its annual summer party and raised over £1,800 for MAAC.

The party, which was a fun day for staff and their families, was hosted in the grounds of ESOS’ head office in Meriden Hall. Guests were able to take advantage of It’s A Knockout games, zorb balls, a surf simulator, treasure hunt, cup cake decorating and much more. They were also treated to a barbeque and music from a steel band to really get the summer vibe going. Plus to help raise funds for the vital life saving service there was a tombola and raffle.

John Smith, chairman for ESOS, commented: “Our annual summer party is a opportunity to get all our employees and their families together to say thanks for all their hard work and the day was extra special as we’ve been able to raise such a terrific amount for the Midlands Air Ambulance, which is such a worthy cause.”

Sarah Arnold, corporate fundraising manager for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, adds: “It’s extremely heartening to know our great service is so well supported by the local communities we serve – without their contributions we just wouldn’t be the largest and busiest air ambulance operator in the UK. We are extremely grateful to everyone at ESOS for their generous donation, which will go directly towards our life saving service.”

Missions completed since 1991: 50,563 | On average we airlift a child every four days | Road traffic collisions make up around 35% of the incidents we attend | The service airlifts on average four horse riders each week.
