Take On Monaco Insurance’s ‘25 For 25’ Challenge

As part of Edgbaston-based Monaco Insurance’s support of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s 25th anniversary year, the company is looking for 24 additional businesses to pledge their support of the charity during 2016.

“Midlands Air Ambulance has airlifted over 43,000 extremely poorly people from across the region since 1991, so we wanted to do something really special to mark the service’s 25th anniversary,” states Kay Gill, director for Monaco Insurance.

The firm of independent insurance brokers will be running a number of events throughout the year in aid of the vitally important emergency service, with the aim of raising £25,000. But the team isn’t stopping there, as part of its ’25 for 25’ campaign they want to encourage a further 24 businesses to also support the charity this year.

Kay continues: “No matter how large or small the commitment or donation, we are calling on fellow Birmingham businesses to help make a difference to a charity that has made such an incredible difference to thousands of people in the region.

“Giving back to the community is something we truly value at Monaco Insurance, and Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is such a worthy cause to support. I’d welcome any business that is interested in being part of our unique ‘25 for 25’ initiative to get in touch with me to find out more.”

Fellow director, Amrik Chote, adds: “There are many businesses with big hearts here in the Midlands area and we would like to reach out and ask them to join our goal to help Midlands Air Ambulance Charity save even more lives. They undertake vital work alongside the emergency services and are potentially available to every single person residing in the area.”

Sofia Voutianitis, corporate partnerships manager for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, says: “Monaco Insurance’s inspiring ‘25 for 25’ campaign really highlights the fantastic community spirit Birmingham businesses have. We carry out up to six air ambulance missions daily and each mission costs the charity £2,500, so we hope Monaco Insurance’s passion, enthusiasm and commitment to our charity is echoed by at least 25 further Birmingham companies during our 25th anniversary celebrations.”

To assist local organisations interested in supporting Monaco Insurance’s ’25 for 25’ campaign, the company has created a list of creative initiatives to help other committed businesses fundraising plans ‘take off’. The list and further details can be found at www.justgiving.com/MonacoInsurance
