The 25th anniversary of the Land Rover Golf Championship

Over 135 golfers took part in the tournament, which was sponsored by the suppliers who took p-art and was held at Redditch Golf Club. The participants included 102 employees and over 30 suppliers.

Thanks to the event, £1,500 was raised for MAAC, which will help save further lives across the six counties the service covers.

The charity was chosen by the committee as several years ago one of their colleagues was airlifted from a golf course by MAAC. Ian Rutherford, Land Rover Golf Championship representative said: “It was a fantastic day and was a great way to raise awareness and much needed funds for Midlands Air Ambulance. The charity is very close to our hearts and we are proud to support it.”

Missions completed since 1991: 50,563 | On average we airlift a child every four days | Road traffic collisions make up around 35% of the incidents we attend | The service airlifts on average four horse riders each week.
