WPD colleagues from across the Midlands had their fishing rods at the ready for the annual coarse fishing competition which raised £1,180 for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. 64 keen anglers took park in teams of four at the tournament at Meadowlands Fishery in Coventry.Event organiser and Worcester Distribution Manager Lee Wallace said: “We had a great day despite some torrential rain at the prize giving. The event was well attended by teams from across the Midlands and it is becoming a noted date for the teams and individuals who can attend. I would like to thank all those who contributed to the day with their time and especially to those who provided raffle prizes.”

The Worcester team won the overall match followed by Gloucester then Hinckley Black. Tipton based Jason Powell managed to catch over 150lb of fish during the course of the match for a second year running.
