Four Oaks Primary School, Sutton Coldfield raised £1500 through a range of activities and events throughout the academic year.

Midlands Air Ambulance is the  designated charity for the whole school year at Four Oaks Primary They have had three big pushes at raising funds this year :

  • Every child made a money box and filled it with copper coins - some pupils brought in more than one. This raised over £800
  • The School Council organised a 'Teddy Bears' Picnic' on the school field and every child and staff member took part. This raised over £400.
  • The PTA gave the proceeds from one of their six children's discos to the Air Ambulance and this raised nearly £300

Deputy Head Teacher, Mark Benton said; “We have had a fantastic  time raising this money and it has really heightened the children's awareness of just what goes on behind the scenes with Air Ambulance “
