The ‘Hunter Chase’ Is On For Midlands Air Ambulance Charity

Wednesday 3rd April 2024

You are invited to Cheltenham Racecourse’s highly anticipated season finale, which is once again in support of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s vital pre-hospital emergency service in the area.

Taking place on Friday 3rd May, Race Night is a thrilling evening where amateur riders and trainers compete for victory at the home of jump racing, with seven fiercely fought Hunter Chases taking place over distances ranging between two to four miles.

For the third year, The Jockey Club is generously providing the charity with an exclusive hospitality evening in the National Hunt Restaurant for enthusiastic racegoers. Sponsored by HBC Logistics, the package includes a delicious three-course meal and access to the event’s post-race afterparty with live entertainment and DJ set from Capital FM’s Chris Stark.

Pam Hodgetts, corporate partnerships manager at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said, “We’re really excited to be returning to Cheltenham Racecourse for our third Hunter Chase event. The evening is the perfect way to kickstart the May bank holiday in style while helping to raise important funds for our service.

Last year, the event raised more than £15,000, helping to fund ten lifesaving missions in the local area. A huge thank you to The Jockey Club for the continued support, in which the 2024 event will no doubt make more missions possible.”

Andre Klein, Assistant General Manager at The Jockey Club, added: “We are thrilled to be welcoming back Midlands Air Ambulance Charity to our season finale at Cheltenham. Sadly, the charity is called out to a horse rider every week on average, so it feels only fitting to be continuing our support for a service that invaluably protects our riding community.”

Tickets are available now at an early bird price of £115 per person. To secure a place, or to book a table at the exhilarating event, please email wiktoria.jaworska@midlandsairambulance.com.
