A sky high Christmas treat!

Father Christmas will be popping into Hanley Swan Village Store, Malvern, next week to help raise money for a well-loved charity.

The festive visit on Saturday 18th December will mark the second annual Grand Draw in aid of Midlands Air Ambulance by the local convenience store and Post Office on Malvern Road.

This year Hanley Swan residents will be given the chance of winning a handmade, bespoke doll’s house, otherwise known as first prize.  (Kindly donated by a local lady)

“Everyone is so excited about the chance of winning the doll’s house. It’s wonderfully furnished with chimney pots, miniature kettles and outdoor table and chairs! We’ve had a great deal of interest already with many people buying numerous tickets in the hope that they will be the lucky winner”says Rosalind Davies, owner of the Village Store for the past eight years.

Last year’s Grand Draw attracted 80 local residents and raised £584.93 for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

Tickets for the Grand Draw are priced at £1 from Hanley Swan Village Store and St James Church, Welland. Winners will be announced at the store on Saturday 18th during Father Christmas’s visit, 10am to 12 noon.

Midlands Air Ambulance would like to wish everyone a huge good luck in the grand draw and hopes Father Christmas has a lovely time at the store.
