A very bright idea!

Rudolph’s nose won’t be the brightest thing in Cannock this Christmas - that title has been snapped up by a very festive house.

Paul and Jane Carpenter took eight hours to decorate their house, covering it with thousands upon thousands of fairy lights, snowman, shooting stars and even a Midlands Air Ambulance helicopter.

This is the tenth year that the Carpenters have put up the lights for Charity, raising £26,000 over the years.

The house on Squirrel Close in Huntington, Cannock, will remain decorated for the next couple of weeks.

The Carpenters won the Studio Catalogue Competition in 2004 for the best decorated house in the UK.

What a bright idea! Midlands Air Ambulance is sure Father Christmas won’t be able to miss the Carpenters’ house this year.
