Charity Night Celebration for Oruna Cuisine

Oruna Cuisine at Market Drayton, Shropshire Street, held a very successful and very generous Charity Night in aid of Midlands Air Ambulance, on the evening of the 19th June.

To celebrate the 1st Anniversary of the restaurant, Oruna Cusine held the charity dinner and all proceeds went to the charity, including any profits that were made from the food. Tracy Lowe helped to organise a raffle, and collected prizes from local businesses, whilst more prizes were donated by local people.

The Mayor of Market Drayton, Steve Glover, and ex Mayor Kath Brown, also made an appearance and contributed to the success of the evening.

A grand total of £1,363 was raiseorunad by the very generous staff and guests and was donated to the vital service.

Maria Jones, Community Fundraising Manager at Midlands Air Ambulance said; “It was a fantastic evening, Hamdu and all his staff were excellent. The Oruna Cuisine has helped our cause greatly by giving so much time and energy to raise money to ensure the vital service remains operational. We are all very grateful for their efforts”
