Fancy going to a woodland gig?

The life-saving Charity has teamed up with the Forestry Commission to auction off concert tickets for the Erasure and Simple Minds Cannock Chase Forest gigs in June.

“We wanted to give something back to Midlands Air Ambulance as a thank you for the invaluable service that the Charity provides,” says Andy Coggins Visitor Services Manager at the Forestry Commission. “During my time working at the forest I’ve seen the air ambulance come out to people who have been mountain biking, trekking or horse riding, proving that you just never know when you might need it.”

The two sets of concert tickets, a pair for the Erasure gig on 24th June, and a pair for the Simple Minds gig on 25th June, will be auctioned off on ebay at the beginning of June.

Erasure’s Total Pop! Forest Tour comes after more than four years away from the recording studio and will see the duo perform a brand new version of their top five single ‘A Little Respect – HMI Redux’.  Additionally the ‘Greatest Hits Forest Tour’ by Simple Minds follows the release of the band’s Greatest Hits album earlier this year. Collectively the concerts will see more than ten thousand fans descend upon Cannock Chase Forest.
