Fundraise For Midlands Air Ambulance Charity While You Shop Online

As part of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s forwarding thinking and unique approach to fundraising, the charity has teamed up with the Care2Save online service, which will provide an invaluable long-term income stream for the charity.

The Care2Save service enables online consumers to give to the vital life saving work of the Midlands Air Ambulance at no extra cost to themselves when shopping online with several of the UK’s leading high street brands via

Care2Save has partnered with a number of major names such as Debenhams, Boots, House of Fraser, Monarch and BT, and is actively encouraging consumers to utilise the service, which Midlands Air Ambulance has deemed an excellent form of fundraising in a continuingly economically challenging time.

Every year UK consumers spend billions of pounds shopping online, from booking annual holidays, to shopping for clothes and weekly groceries, generating a commission which boosts profits in the corporate sector. As a registered charity Care2Save takes 100 per cent of the commission generated on purchases made through  and ensures that every penny is given to good causes.

80 per cent of the commission made via the Care2Save website will go directly to shoppers’ favourite charity, which is why Midlands Air Ambulance is urging those living in the region to use the website and name the life saving service as their chosen charity.

The remaining 20 per cent also goes to charity, in the form of the Care2Save Charitable Trust, which will distribute all profits to hospices and palliative care projects in the UK and around the world.

Jason Levy, fundraising and marketing director at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, stated: “While we remain in an economically challenging period, it is clear that there is less disposable income available to our donors, so our supporters can still give to our charity and make a difference to our life saving work, while shopping online through Care2Save.

“I am encouraging those who like to shop online to check our the Care2Save website, as your support will make an extremely important impact on our service.”

Andrea Fragata Ladeira, CEO of the Care2Save Charitable Trust, commented:  “The expansion of Care2Save to include the UK’s finest and most popular brands shows it is not only an exciting time for us, but for the whole of the UK’s charity sector.

“I hope very much that the community served by Midlands Air Ambulance will go online and register with and start giving to a charity which makes a difference in their communities.”

To enable Midlands Air Ambulance Charity to become a beneficiary, all online shoppers need to do is fill in the organisation’s name and charity number (1143118) at the checkout.
