Join Us At Our Wellington Shop's First Anniversary

To celebrate our Wellington shop's first anniversary, we are hosting a festive party for shoppers, and opening the doors to Santa’s Grotto on Saturday 7th December.

David Adams, charity shop manager, states: “It’s been a phenomenal first year for our shop. Since we opened last December we have been inundated with donations of quality goods to sell, and the response we’d had from shoppers has been fantastic, so much so we exceeded our expected sales figures by 300 per cent. Wellington is a very special market town and the local people have made us feel very welcome, resulting in a very successful first year.

“As a way of saying thank you to everyone who has supported the shop we decided to host a party, complete with a magician and traditional choir to keep everyone entertained. In addition, there will be a face painter for the children, refreshments, and our Santa’s Grotto, which I believe will be extremely popular among our younger shoppers.”

he event takes place from 9.30am to 5pm on Saturday 7th December. As well as taking part in the festive fun, visitors are being invited to browse the shelves to find a Christmas bargain, or a treat for themselves!

David adds: “Although we are extremely grateful to the public for their unfaltering support of our store, we wouldn’t have been so successful without our amazing group of shop volunteers, who have tirelessly dedicated their time to us, so the party is also our way of saying thank you to each of them. We hope to see you on the 7th for our first anniversary event, which is expected to be a great day out for all the family.”
