MAAC Launches New Clothing Range With Rugby Legend

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has teamed up with rugby legend Phil Vickery, MBE, and his leading clothing brand, Raging Bull Sportswear, to offer a selection of charity-branded high quality leisurewear to the public, to help raise further funds for the life saving emergency pre-hospital service.

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity believes the new relationship with Raging Bull Sportswear with drive greater clothing sales, helping the charity undertake further emergency missions across the six counties covered by the service. In addition, Midlands Air Ambulance’s aircrew will also don Raging Bull Sportswear as part of their new uniform under their flight suits.

Jason Levy, fundraising and marketing director for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, explains the collaboration: “Ever since our initial meeting with Phil Vickery and the team at Raging Bull Sportswear it was immediately apparent that there is terrific synergy between our two organisations. Raging Bull Sportswear is a rugby heritage clothing brand and on average we airlift people with sporting injuries every three days, a great proportion of which relate to rugby accidents.”

In addition to the Raging Bull Sportswear clothing range, which includes a variety of men’s and women’s polo shirts, fleeces, hoodies, hats and jackets, Phil Vickery has joined Midlands Air Ambulance Charity as a celebrity ambassador, helping to promote the work of the service and it’s charitable status.

Phil Vickery MBE, rugby legend and founder of Raging Bull Sportswear, adds: “I am thrilled to be working with Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, both with the clothing partnership and personally as an ambassador. Throughout my career I have been acutely aware of the potentially life-threatening injuries that can take place on the pitch, so I am keen to help raise awareness of this incredibly vital emergency service.”
