MAAC's Glittering Recognition Awards Evening

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is inviting you to its much anticipated Recognition Awards and Charity Ball on Friday 20th June.

Held annually at Edgbaston Stadium, the prestigious evening is designed to celebrate the charity’s unsung heroes, including supportive fundraisers, brave airlift patients and dedicated volunteers, and is also hosted to raise vital funds for the life saving service.

The glittering evening will start with a drinks reception, complete with live music and the arrival of the service’s three famous air ambulance helicopters. Guests will be treated to a four course meal, followed by a casino, auction, prestigious raffle and live entertainment. In addition, several of the charity’s celebrity and sporting ambassadors will be joining in with the celebrations and will help to the party get started.

During the night, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity will recognise some of the very special people and organisations who have supported the charity and enabled it to become one of the best-loved in the Midlands.

Jason Levy, fundraising and marketing director for the charity, comments: “Our Recognition Awards and Charity Ball has always been enjoyed by everyone who attends. Not only is it a wonderful excuse for a really great night out, but it also recognises some of the incredible people who make a difference to our service; our paramedics and doctors, our fundraisers and volunteers and of course, our courageous patients. I guarantee there will be laughter and tears on the night and I do hope you can join us on this very special occasion.”

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has already had an incredible level of support, with the platinum package taken by jewellers TH Baker, and gold level sponsorship packages secured with security firm GMS, Ferrari and Maserati dealership Graypaul Birmingham, Silverstone Auctions, Style Birmingham magazine and marketing company Yoghurt Top.
