Make A Date To Support Midlands Air Ambulance

Motorbike hire company, Urban Rockets, is aiming to fund six life saving missions for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity by selling a brand new bikers’ calendar.

The calendar, which has been styled with the assistance of Toni & Guy, was the brainchild of Urban Rockets’ managing director, Steve Sohal. He comments: “Having heard about the great work of the Midlands Air Ambulance and how many bikers the service has airlifted, I decided to get involved with fundraising and came up with the idea of doing a calendar, which will remind people on a daily basis that they are supporting this amazing charity.”

Urban Rockets hopes to sell 3,000 calendars, generating £15,000 for the vital life saving work of the service, which will fund six missions.

Sofia Voutianitis, regional fundraising manager for MAAC, says: “Almost half of the incidents we attend are road traffic collisions and a great proportion involve bikers, so it’s wonderful to know we have such creative and generous support from the biking community and companies like Urban Rockets.”

The calendar, which is priced at £10 and includes images of sought-after bikes with models, will be on sale from mid-October from Ebay.
