New Poetry Collection Released To Raise Funds For Midlands Air Ambulance Charity

Anita Williams, an inspired author has penned new poems is donating a share of the profits of her latest release to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

Anita, from Admaston in Shropshire, had already been writing prolifically for many years in tandem with her busy career.

And while taking some time out she channelled her passion for poetry in a truly special way – by releasing a book especially for the charity. The result is Poetry Giving, a unique collection of some of her favourite poems as well as a range of brand new titles – including a poem about the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, written after an inspirational trip Anita made to the airbase at RAF Cosford.

The book is available not only from retailers but also directly from the charity at its headquarters, its online store and high street shops in Wellington and Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

The book follows hot on the heels of Anita’s successful and much-heralded first poetry collection titled ‘Knickerbocker Glory’ and is the first project of its kind and Anita said: “I’m really excited about Poetry Giving, because that’s exactly what it is!

“It’s been fantastic to be able to rekindle what has been a hobby of mine for so long. A lot of people give to charity and know that their money goes to a good cause but I’m really pleased to be able to do that with something tangible that people will be able to hold and keep for years to come as a reminder of the fantastic work the charity does.”

Jason Levy, the charity’s fundraising and marketing director, was confident the book will be a real hit. He added: “Anita is tremendously passionate about supporting the charity and that really comes across in her new book, which we’re delighted to support.

“It’s a really enjoyable read which I am sure will be popular, so to know that the charity will receive a share of the profits is simply wonderful and we can’t thank Anita enough for that.”
