Quilters back charity

Wombourne Quilters have donated over £600 to Midlands Air Ambulance this week.

The Wolverhampton group invited locals to marvel at their patchwork creations earlier this year as part of a quilt show in aid of the charity.

Proving a huge success the show raised a total of £650 which will cover the cost of two new flight suits for the crew.

Midlands Air Ambulance is incredibly grateful to the hardwork of the quilters and hopes they continue to showcase their fantastic designs.

Missions completed since 1991: 50,563 | On average we airlift a child every four days | Road traffic collisions make up around 35% of the incidents we attend | The service airlifts on average four horse riders each week.
