Take The Leap Of Faith!

Are you a thrill seeker looking to do something fun and raise money for a worthy cause? Well the sky is the limit as Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is hosting a charity skydive to help raise vital funds.

The event, organised in partnership with the Red Devils, the parachute regiment free-fall team, will see plucky volunteers jump out of a plane from 13,000ft and experience a thrill of a lifetime, all in aid of good cause.

Taking place on Tuesday 1st July, the skydive is open to people over the age of 16, so entrants looking for an adrenaline rush while raising money for a worthwhile charity are being invited to sign up now.

Registration for the event is just £100 and a minimum sponsorship commitment of £450 is required, with proceeds going to help save lives across the six counties covered by the service, including Staffordshire, Shropshire, West Midlands, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.

Michelle McCracken, events manager at Midlands Air Ambulance, said: “The skydive is one of our most extreme fundraising events and we’re looking for daredevil supporters to push themselves to the limit. This really is the perfect way to do something truly incredible to help save lives within our region, so I’d encourage people looking to take on the challenge to register their interest now, before potentially missing out on this fantastic experience as there are only a handful of places remaining.”

Midlands Air Ambulance, which doesn’t receive any Government or National Lottery funding, relies solely on donations and needs in excess of £6.5 million each year to stay in operation.

To register call 0800 840 2040 or email michelle.mccracken@midlandsairambulance.com.
