Worcester Concert Brass Band will be hitting the high notes this December when they perform a festive concert in aid of Midlands Air Ambulance.

Playing traditional tunes with a festive flare the group of instrumentalists will be entertaining audiences at St George’s Church Hall in Worcester on Friday the 10th of December.

“Christmas is a strong reminder why it’s so fantastic being part of the band, everyone’s got the festive feeling and are coming along to rehearsals with plenty of good cheer. We’ve high hopes for the concert and fingers crossed they’ll raise a bit of money for Midlands Air Ambulance” says conductor of ten years Brian Hodgetts.

In addition to the concert, the band will also be performing a number of carolling sessions in the run up to Christmas, kicking off at Worcester’s Victorian Fayre on the 4th of December.

The thirty band members aged between 12 and 65 aim to raise in excess of £500 through their Christmas festivities.

At almost thirty years strong the Band has played at a number of indoor and outdoor concerts both at home and abroad, establishing themselves as a first-rate Brass Band.

Tickets will be sold at £7 on the night (£5 in advance) and doors will open at 7pm.  To obtain a ticket email or visit All Music Plus, 75 Sidbury, Worcester.
