Vintage Tractor Road Run 2014 To Assist Midlands Air Ambulance

Bridgnorth is getting ready to host the National Tractor Run on Sunday 20th April - it's the first time the national event will be host in Shropshire, and the organisers are hoping to make this year's event the biggest and best yet.

Event organiser and member of the Bridgnorth Vintage Machinery Club, David Spruce, is inviting all owners of tractors to register for the event with all fees going to support Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

The run will include over 600 tractors from across the UK and Ireland setting off at 10am from Hermitage Farm for a 25 mile drive around Bridgnorth, with a lunchtime break at the Burwarton Showground. The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity demonstration helicopter pod will be situated at the finishing line on Bridgnorth High Street, and the public are being invited to view all the tractors and donate to the life saving service.

It’s set to be a great day out for all the family and in addition to the Tractor Run, the Bridgnorth Vintage Machinery Club has restored an old tractor which will be raffled off during the event, with proceeds going to Midlands Air Ambulance. Second and third prizes are £250 and £100 respectively.
