Worthwhile, rewarding and making a real difference…

The importance of volunteers to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity cannot be overestimated. The valuable service Midlands Air Ambulance delivers throughout the 6 counties we serve is only made possible through the efforts of the public and our volunteers who willingly give up their time to make a real difference allowing our emergency service to save lives.

The Charity is fortunate to count on tremendous public support and goodwill, but never takes this for granted.

Winning and keeping hearts and minds is an essential and constant challenge. That is why it regards the real ‘helicopter heroes’ as not only the aircrews, but those, often unsung, ground heroes, its Volunteers. Working together, our volunteers and staff help raise the vital funds necessary to fund our services

The Midlands Air Ambulance  Charity emblem is recognised all over the Midlands as a sign of hope, by choosing to Volunteer for MAA you will have joined a family of caring individuals dedicated to helping people in need.

Every week, thousands of people across the Midlands benefit from the hard work and coordinated efforts of willing volunteers who, like you, give their time to help others.

Each volunteer is like a vital cog, ensuring that the whole organisation runs smoothly. And for every front-line volunteer providing help, there is supporting services behind the scenes, making sure the Charity keeps raising vital funds

We are always in need of volunteers, if you would like to know more or would like an application form to be sent out to you, please call the Alison Blakeway on the 0800 8 40 20 40.  And remember that we’ll ensure you have the necessary support to make sure your experience is worthwhile, rewarding and will make a real difference!
