Volunteer Opportunities

How do I find out more?

Initial contact should be made to the Volunteers Officer at Charity headquarters or by completing an application form online.  Potential Volunteers name, contact details and area of interest will be registered on the Charity’s data-base.  As opportunities arise, volunteers who have expressed an interest in a specific area will be contacted.  An informal meeting will be arranged where potential volunteers will have the opportunity to find out more about the project and their involvement with Midlands Air Ambulance.

Applying to be a volunteer?

All application forms will be considered and will go through the process of “matching to the opportunity profiles”.  We will write to successful candidates, keeping them on the register for matching to future opportunities.

References

Because our work is so important, we have high standards for people who represent the Charity.  Potential volunteers are asked to provide two character references.  Depending on the type of volunteer work you wish to participate in, you may have to undergo a Criminal Record Bureau check.  In return, we make sure you have a named contact in the organisation that will support you in your volunteer role, ensuring all activities take place in a safe and secure environment.
