Bill and Linda Snaith

We pride ourselves on a terrific level of support from our volunteers, who truly are the backbone of the charity. They bring a range of skills to the table and assist with a whole host of fundraising activities. Ultimately their support keeps the charity in the hearts and minds of the communities we serves.

Bill and Linda from Rugeley are two of our 80-strong family of volunteers. They attend a great number of events throughout the year, manning the charity’s merchandise stand among their responsibilities.

Bill: “We got involved with Midlands Air Ambulance Charity four years ago and have found the experience very rewarding. We enjoy working with Alison and the staff at HQ as they’re always helpful and friendly and make us feel part of the team.”

Linda adds: “The work we do for the service gives us both a great sense of satisfaction as we know we’re making a real difference. I’d seriously urge anyone who is thinking about becoming a volunteer to get in touch with Alison Midlands Air Ambulance to find out more.”

Missions completed since 1991: 50,563 | On average we airlift a child every four days | Road traffic collisions make up around 35% of the incidents we attend | The service airlifts on average four horse riders each week.
