About the role
We have an exciting opportunity at our store in Shrewsbury. We are looking to recruit an assistant manager to support with the setup of a new shop and to work as part of team to deliver effective and efficient retail operations thereafter, deputising for the shop manager when required. The role focuses on proactive sales via impactful in-store promotion and excellent customer service, alongside day-to-day coordination of staff, volunteers, stock management and administration.
About Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC)
MAAC is responsible for delivering a regional pre-hospital emergency service across the six counties of the central region. During the last 30 plus years, our service has undertaken approximately 68,000 missions, rapidly reaching and treating the most critically unwell and injured patients.
Our retail team are a vital part of the MAAC Group which includes a growing network of charity shops delivering in-store and online sales activity. The team help to promote the organisation’s lifesaving charitable cause, by selling second-hand goods as part of our collective effort to raise the vital funds needed for our £11-12m service, which includes three helicopters and a fleet of critical care cars.
