Dr Richard Fawcett


Richard has been flying with MAA since April 2012, and worked in pre-hospital care since 2005. Among his responsibilities he flies on HELIMED03 from RAF Cosford. He's currently preparing to go back to Afghanistan on his third tour of military duty as the clinical lead for MERT (Medical Emergency Response Team) where he will be flying injured soldiers from the front line to the hospital in Camp Bastion. When he's not in work Richard enjoys climbing, rowing and scuba diving and hasrecently bought a new house with his girlfriend Cara.
