Ian Jones

Air Crew Supervisor

Ian Jones I first joined the Ambulance Service in 1998 and since then I’ve worked at both Cosford and East Midlands Airport. In 2008 I was appointed as Aircrew Supervisor at the new Tatenhill base. Being part of what we do at Midlands Air Ambulance is a privilege and I would encourage any paramedic to apply. It’s a tough selection process but then I always say - if I managed it, anyone can! Away from work I live in Staffordshire with my fiance Sally and my Border Collies Jess and Lottie and my other loves, a 1960 Land Rover and a 1974 VW Camper Van.

Missions completed since 1991: 50,563 | On average we airlift a child every four days | Road traffic collisions make up around 35% of the incidents we attend | The service airlifts on average four horse riders each week.
