Steve Mason

Steve has worked for the ambulance service for ten years and has recently been seconded to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity working as a flight paramedic.

He is very humbled and privileged to be working as part of a highly motivated and dedicated team. Prior to joining the ambulance service he served with the armed forces for nine years seeing operations in Bosnia and Kosovo.

He has recently become a dad and lives with his wife (Jeniene) and son (Tui) in Studley.

Steve adds: "I find the role of a paramedic very rewarding and fulfilling. Everyday is different and it is an honour to be able to help people in their hour of need. If I'm not at work you'll find me down the gym or spending time outdoors with my family."

Missions completed since 1991 48,688 | On average we airlift a child every four days | Road traffic collisions make up around 35% of the incidents we attend | The service airlifts up to three horse riders each week.
