Tom Waters

Tom Waters has worked with the ambulance service since 2008 after graduating from Coventry University. He is now a critical care paramedic with Midlands Air Ambulance.

Tom says: “I love my job and could never image working 9-5. I have always admired and aspired to be part of the air ambulance team! And I feel I have the best job in the world!"

Tom is currently studying part time at Coventry University for a further degree in emergency care.  He adds: “If I'm not at work I would be found down the gym or playing rugby.”

In November 2014 Tom was one of a number of volunteers who travelled to treat patients in Sierra Leone.

Missions completed since 1991: 50,563 | On average we airlift a child every four days | Road traffic collisions make up around 35% of the incidents we attend | The service airlifts on average four horse riders each week.
