Man remanded in jail over armed robbery at Charity HQ

A man charged in connection with the armed robbery at the charity headquarters has appeared in court.

31-year-old Richard Gray was arrested at an address in the Birmingham area on Friday, November 23. He appeared at Dudley magistrates on Tuesday, November 27, to hear claims that he raided the charity’s HQ in Pedmore Road, Brierley Hill, on June 21 2011.

Gray was remanded in jail and will next appear on February 15th, 2013, at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

He was charged with Robbery after members of staff were held hostage, threatened with a taser gun and £12,000 of donations were stolen.
