Pedal Power

Organised by employees at Wolverhampton based Bluestar Security, 15 keen fundraisers from the Sikh community will embark on a 180 mile bike ride. Gearing into action on Friday 13th May the ride will take three days to complete and will cover some of the best cycling routes between London Bridge and the Midlands Air Ambulance airbase at Strensham Services, M5 northbound.

The exhausting challenge was the brainchild of Navinder Singh, owner of Bluestar Security who wants to encourage others to support the Charity.

“I wanted to set myself a real challenge which would help raise awareness of Midlands Air Ambulance amongst a variety of different communities,” says 27 year old Navinder. “The air ambulance does a huge amount of work and is there for everyone whether you are Asian, Sikh, rich or poor. I know £50,000 is a huge target to have set but I wanted to encourage other people to help the Charity as well - if a small independent company can achieve this much then just think what the bigger companies could do!”

To help reach their total Bluestar Security will also host a Charity Gala at West Bromwich Albion Football Ground on 3rd June. Tickets are available at £40 each from or by calling Christian or Ian at Impulse Marketing on 0121 609 7100.
