Our charity shops give local people the opportunity to dispose of their old items of furniture or clothes, your purchase creates a sustainable system of recycled shopping that doesn’t cost the earth, but will help save it!
You can support our lifesaving service with just one tap at our Gloucester, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Shrewsbury, Walsall and Wellington shops!
Look out for our Tap and Go facility, a cut-out of one of our critical care paramedics in each shop window. Tap your card on the bucket to make a one-off donation of £3 to our charity and help make a mission possible.
All our shops sell and accept The Charity Shop Gift Card, making it easier to support our service while shopping sustainably.
The gift cards, which are both recyclable and compostable, can also be purchased from our Cosford airbase and charity headquarters, major supermarkets and online via The Charity Shop Gift Card Website.

Our volunteers help to save lives by giving time in our charity shops. Whether it’s a few hours a month or a few days a week, the hours are flexible.
We are always looking for new volunteers to help process donations, create attractive displays and speak to our donors.
If you have any pre-loved goods including furniture, bric-a-brac, clothing, accessories or electrical goods, our shops are always happy to receive donations during their opening hours.
A free furniture collection service is available within a ten-mile radius of the shop. Call your local store to arrange your collection.
Small items can be donated directly in store, or at the charity’s head office.
When gifting your donation, ask about Gift Aid to raise 25% extra from your donation.
Our Wellington Charity Shop has a donation station located around the back of the store, where you can donate textiles 24/7.
