Staffordshire Air Ambulance

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity provides vital emergency pre-hospital care across Staffordshire, attending hundreds of serious incidents each year. Our highly skilled pilots, critical care paramedics, and doctors are ready to respond to life-threatening incidents, and regularly attend incidents across areas from Lichfield and Cannock to Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent, and the major road networks including the M6, A50 and A34.

Staffordshire is also home to the charity’s Tatenhill airbase.

Our operations across Staffordshire

One of the unique advantages of our air ambulance service is the ability to land in a wide variety of locations — from busy city centres to the most remote parts of the countryside. This flexibility ensures that our crew can reach patients wherever they are, without delay.

We frequently attend incidents in areas such as Cannock Chase, the Peak District fringes, and rural parts of Staffordshire, where access by road can be challenging. In more urban environments like Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford, our critical care cars complement our helicopter service, enabling rapid on-scene intervention when air access isn’t required or practical.
