Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace (RQF) Qualsafe

Mental health is just as important as physical health in creating a safe, productive, and supportive workplace. This nationally recognised qualification provides learners with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to identify the signs of common mental health conditions, start supportive conversations, and signpost individuals to appropriate sources of help. 

Designed for managers, team leaders, HR professionals, wellbeing champions, and employees with an interest in workplace wellbeing, this course explores topics including stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, self-harm, psychosis, eating disorders, and substance misuse. Learners will also gain an understanding of workplace mental health legislation, employer responsibilities, and strategies for promoting a positive mental health culture. 

Throughout the course, participants will develop practical mental health first aid skills, including active listening, supporting colleagues experiencing mental ill health, recognising signs of workplace stress, and helping individuals access professional support when needed.

  • Qualification: Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace (RQF)
  • Duration: 14 hours
  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Assessment: Multiple-choice question paper (25 questions)
  • Certification Validity: 3 years
  • Nationally Regulated Qualification: Level 3
