Trustee Role

Voluntary role
Closing date = Midnight (UK time) on the evening of 23rd September

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is seeking an exceptional Trustee to help shape the future of one of the UK’s busiest and most established air ambulance services. Operating three helicopters and a fleet of critical care cars across six Midlands counties, and funded entirely by public generosity, MAAC has completed more than 82,000 lifesaving missions since 1991.

We are looking for an accomplished, values-led individual with a strong record of senior leadership, gained in the public, private or third sector, and either proven board-level experience or the clear potential to contribute effectively in a board environment. You will bring sound judgement, strategic thinking and the confidence to provide constructive challenge, alongside a genuine commitment to our lifesaving mission.

First-time Trustees are warmly encouraged to apply — a structured induction, including a two-day governance programme, is provided. A close connection to Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, the West Midlands or Worcestershire is desirable but not essential.

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is partnering with Nurole, the leading board-level search specialist.
