We’re working with Recycling Solutions, who distribute and empty our clothing recycling banks, and in return Midlands Air Ambulance Charity receives an agreed percentage of the sale of the bin contents. All that’s needed from you, is to drop off your unwanted clothing, shoes and textiles at the banks!

The clothing banks are emptied on a regular basis by the team at Recycling Solutions
Collected goods are returned to the local hub and packed together in large hessian sacks
Clothing is sold, unsorted, to trading partners in the UK and abroad
A pre-determined percentage of the money made from the sold clothing is received by MAAC to put towards the operation our lifesaving service.
The trading partner will sort the clothing they’ve bought from Recycling Solutions, separating each item to determine what can be resold and what material needs to be recycled
Items for resale are sent to second hand shops and markets across the globe, whilst items that cannot be resold are recycled and made into wiper rags, mattress stuffing, or other reusable materials.
We’re keen to expand our distribution of recycling banks as much as possible! Locations need to be outdoors, with access for members of the public to donate their unwanted goods. Ideal locations include:
