We work in close partnership with NHS Ambulance Services, including West Midlands Ambulance Service and South Western Ambulance Service, to deliver advanced pre-hospital emergency care across the six counties we serve, as well as supporting national responses during major incidents. We are dispatched to cases of the highest severity, where our Critical Care Paramedics and HEMS Doctors – deployed by helicopter or critical care car – work alongside NHS ambulance crews at the scene. Together, we provide specialist interventions, bringing hospital-level emergency medicine directly to incidents in our communities and workplaces when it is needed most.
