David started his medical career in Emergency Medicine, before changing path to specialise in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care Medicine. This has taken him around the UK working in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Yorkshire, Derbyshire, and North Wales. David joined Midlands Air Ambulance Charity in February 2025. He has previously volunteered as a pre-hospital doctor with the West Yorkshire Medic Response Team since 2018 and with Woodhead Mountain Rescue from 2013. Outside of work David enjoys the outdoors, particularly running, cycling, hiking, and climbing.
