Tom joined the team in August 2024 as a Critical Care Paramedic with Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. Prior to this, he worked with the Medical Emergency Response Intervention Team (MERIT) in Birmingham, where he gained extensive experience in emergency medical care.
He feels it is a privilege to serve both urban and rural communities across the heart of England with the charity. Things are continually evolving which presents the critical care crews with new clinical challenges, which is something Tom thrives on.
Outside of work, Tom is a keen trail runner. He’s currently working towards securing a place at the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB) Chamonix in 2026, which has been regarded as the most competitive trail ultramarathon in the world.
