A man has sadly died, and another has been taken to hospital, after a collision involving a car and a small truck near Stourport on Severn this morning.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at 10.23am to Ribbesford Road and sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and two aircrafts from Midlands Air Ambulance to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman says: “On arrival, crews found a man, in a critical condition, receiving CPR from fire service colleagues.
“Ambulance staff and medics immediately took over to administer advanced life support but sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, he could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene.
“A second man was treated for serious injuries and taken to Worcester Royal Hospital via land ambulance for further treatment.”
