Businesses from across Birmingham raised £6,300 for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity at the annual Birmingham Business Ambassadors Quiz Night, held at The Button Factory on Wednesday 3rd June 2026.

Organised by one of the charity’s Business Ambassadors, Anne‑Marie Eden, the event welcomed 25 teams from regional businesses, all competing for the quiz trophy while supporting the charity’s lifesaving service.

As the charity receives no government funding, events like this play a vital role in keeping its helicopters and critical care cars operational, supporting patients across the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.

The event was sponsored once again by Wall James Chappell, longstanding supporters of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. Business Ambassador, Vic Younis works for the solicitors, which  also supports the charity’s Free Will Writing Service through its network.

Additional backing came from round sponsors Kiwi Homes, Woods Hardwick, Stuart James Clark Ltd, O’Brien Contractors, Bold IT, Oraculum Consultancy and Pearl Comms, helping make the quiz another successful fundraiser.

Jon Cottrell, senior partnerships executive at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “The Birmingham Business Ambassadors Quiz Night has become a fantastic fixture in our calendar, and once again the business community has shown incredible generosity. Every team, sponsor and supporter has helped us continue delivering lifesaving care when every second counts. A very special thank you goes to Anne‑Marie Eden, whose enthusiasm and hard work make this event such a success.”

Anne-Marie Eden, Chief Relationship Officer & Executive Director of Scanlans, GMS Group and Bournville RFC, said: “Organising this quiz each year is something I genuinely look forward to. I can’t fly a helicopter or save people’s lives, but I can bring Birmingham businesses together for an evening of fun and head‑scratching questions to support a vital cause.

“With a growing waiting list, it’s quickly becoming the place to be on a Wednesday in June, with teams are already signing up for 2027. Seeing everyone come together is where I feel I can make a small but meaningful difference.”

James Rousell, Senior Partner at Wall James Chappell, said: “As a firm rooted in the Midlands, we’re proud to support Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and once again sponsor the Birmingham Business Ambassadors Quiz Night. It’s a brilliant event that brings together businesses while raising vital funds for a charity that provides an essential emergency service to the communities where our colleagues, clients and families live and work.”

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s Business Ambassadors programme unites professionals across the region to raise awareness and funds through networking and fundraising initiatives.
