Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is inviting local people to discover the rewards of volunteering at its Halesowen pop-up shop, with a dedicated volunteer recruitment day taking place on Monday 5th October, ahead of the shop’s official opening on Monday 12th October.
The recruitment day will take place at the charity’s pop-up shop at 24–26 Hagley Mall, Cornbow Shopping Centre, Halesowen, B63 4AL, from 10am to 4pm, giving members of the local community the chance to meet the team, find out more about volunteering and discover how they can support the charity’s lifesaving service.
Volunteers play a vital role in helping the charity’s retail shops raise essential funds, with a wide range of opportunities available. From sorting and preparing pre-loved donations and creating eye-catching displays, to welcoming customers, working on the shop floor and supporting the day-to-day running of the store, there are plenty of ways to get involved.
Volunteering also offers an opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills and become part of a local team, while knowing that time spent in the shop directly contributes to the charity’s lifesaving work.

The Halesowen pop-up shop also gives local shoppers the opportunity to support Midlands Air Ambulance Charity while browsing a range of quality pre-loved items, with funds raised helping the charity continue its lifesaving emergency service across the region.
