Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) operates and funds three air ambulances and three critical cars covering six Midlands counties including Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands.
As well as cover from our air ambulances, Worcestershire also benefits from one of our two critical care cars. The car is operated by one critical care paramedic, who responds to medical incidents including heart attacks, strokes, sepsis and respiratory issues, every day between 8am and 8pm.

“Midlands Air Ambulance are heroes in the skies. The crew inspire me every day and I stay positive and determined because I know that negativity gets you nowhere.”– Sophie Price
Sophie Price was treated by our aircrew following a road traffic collision that changed her life forever.
Charley started at MAAC in 2018 in the communications department, and after falling in love with the cause, she wanted to get out there and represent the work of the charity across the wonderful communities it serves. Always happy to help supporters and give ideas on ways to raise money, get in touch with Charley if you’re from Worcestershire and have an event or fundraising idea for MAAC!
