Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) operates and funds three air ambulances, three rapid response vehicles and two critical cars covering six Midlands counties including Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands.
As well as cover from our air ambulances, the Birmingham and Black Country area of West Midlands also benefits from one of our two critical care cars. The car is operated by one critical care paramedic, who responds to medical incidents including heart attacks, strokes, sepsis and respiratory issues, every day between 8am and 8pm.

“I’m definitely lucky to be alive. Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is a wonderful organisation – I feel so grateful to everyone involved.” – Peter Stanton
Peter was treated by aircrew after the blocks holding the front of his motorhome collapsed, and the vehicle rolled onto him.
